Arecont Vision Announced as Outstanding New Vendor by PSA

Glendale, CA (June 23, 2010) - Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology proudly announces their acceptance of the PSA Outstanding New Vendor Award at this year’s PSA Tech 2010 Show. This award was created to acknowledge PSA vendor partners who provide PSA with outstanding service and quality products. Winning vendors were selected based on achieving high scores on a survey completed by PSA members and PSA customer service staff. Scoring was based on eight performance categories: technical support, price advantage, responsiveness, ship dates, return authorizations, local rep support, product quality and reliability and overall improvement.

Arecont Vision's cameras range in image resolution from 1.3 to 10 megapixels, including cameras providing advanced capabilities such as dual day/night and panoramic viewing. Using H.264 compression, Arecont Vision cameras provide greater compression efficiency to solve system issues related to bandwidth and storage. The Arecont Vision line also includes the MegaDomeTM  Series of all-in-one dome cameras and a new compact JPEG series of cameras to address cost-sensitive applications. Most recently, Arecont Vision has introduced their industry-leading 10 megapixel Dual-Mode camera as well as their new lineup of panoramic cameras.
