Arecont Vision® Appoints Country Manager in India to Support Continued Global Expansion

Anwar Hashmi Brings Extensive Industry Expertise and Experience in the Region

Los Angeles, CA (April 14, 2014) – Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, announces the appointment of Anwar Hashmi as Country Manager, Indian Subcontinent (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal.) Mr. Hashmi’s appointment became effective February 1st, 2014. He is based in Mumbai, India.

“Anwar‘s technical, sales and management expertise, and familiarity with nuances in the India marketplace will help Arecont Vision to further accelerate growth in the region,” said Sanjit Bardhan, Director of Middle East, Africa and India, Arecont Vision. “We are excited to have Anwar on board to better serve existing and new customer base in the region.”

Mr. Hashmi has extensive experience in the professional security industry and has held key sales and technical management positions with established companies over his 14-year career in the industry. Most recently, he was IP Surveillance Practice Head for AGC Networks where he worked to position video surveillance with the company’s IT services. Prior Mr. Hashmi worked for Dedicated Micros as Country Manager – India, after spending several years with Honeywell (ADI/HSG) where he served as National Sales Manager in India.
