Arecont Vision® SurroundVideo® Omni G2 Named MVP at Start of ISC West 2016
Las Vegas, NV (April 5, 2016) – Arecont Vision®, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, has received a Security Sales and Integration Most Valuable Product (MVP) award for the new SurroundVideo® Omni G2 omnidirectional multi-sensor camera. The new member of the SurroundVideo Omni family will be on display at ISC West 2016, Sands Convention Center, Las Vegas from April 6-8 in the Arecont Vision booth #8045.
Security Sales and Integration Magazine presented the award to Arecont Vision in a ceremony held earlier today at The Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas. The new multi-sensor megapixel camera was recognized in the “Video Surveillance” product category of the MVP security industry awards. Senior Vice President Raul Calderon and Vice President of Product Development Brad Donaldson received the award on behalf of Arecont Vision.
The ground-breaking design offered by the SurroundVideo Omni camera series includes the ability to easily move each of the remote-focus sensors around the magnetic, 70+ placement-point omnidirectional track and multiple lens options. The newest SurroundVideo Omni is the new G2 model which won the MVP award today. The SurroundVideo Omni G2 adds 3-axis gimbals for an increased range of sensor motion for further user customization of the field of view, and faster frame rates than previous models.

As defined by the publication, judging criteria included innovation, functionality, competitive advantages, benefits to the installer or monitoring provider, and benefits to the end-user.
